Broncos' first free agent signing of 2026 is a familiar face

The Denver Broncos' first free agent signing of the offseason is a familiar face.

The Broncos have signed wide receiver Michael Bandy (5-10, 190 pounds), according to a report from KUSA-TV's Mike Klis. Denver previously signed a dozen players to reserve/future contracts following the end of their 2025 campaign.

The reserve/future contract signees officially join the team's 90-man offseason roster when the NFL's new league year begins in March. Because he was signed post-Super Bowl after his practice squad contract expired, Bandy was a street free agent. So he did not sign a reserve/future deal, but has instead immediately joined the roster.

The 28-year-old receiver has been with the team since 2023. He appeared in four games last season, totaling four receptions for 50 yards and his first career touchdown.
