Just call it a dream music-and-visual coupling — albeit a loud one. Metallica announced on their website Wednesday, “the world’s worst-kept secret. Surprise! … we are bringing our No Repeat Weekends to Sphere in Las Vegas this fall!!”

From the sounds of it, it doesn’t get much better than the heavy metal kingpins in Sin City’s state-of-the art venue.

“Our Sphere weekend residency, Life Burns Faster, will debut on October 1 and 3, with six more shows to follow,” said the band on its website.

“As you’ve come to expect, each set of shows will be No Repeat Weekends, meaning if you attend both the Thursday and Saturday shows, you will not hear the same song twice.”

Two-night and single-night tickets go on sale March 6, at 1 p.m., with several presales over the next week and a half.

The details for the fan club presale begin Monday and you can sign up for the Ticketmaster artist presale beginning Tuesday and see the complete list of all other presales.

Band promises to present their loud sound in ‘new experiential dimensions’

Metallica says “Life Burns Faster set lists will span the entire catalogue, enhanced by the venue’s immersive technologies that will allow you to experience the ’Tallica sound in new experiential dimensions. Whether you’ve seen us from the upper reaches of a stadium or arena, at an intimate club or theatre gig, or from the Snake Pit, Sphere’s technology will present an entirely new live experience for everyone in the house … including us!”

Metallica, who played two show at Toronto’s Rogers Centre last year added: ““From the sights (the world’s highest-resolution LED display that wraps up, over, and around the audience) to the sounds (immersive audio delivering unmatched clarity and precision to every guest) to the multi-sensory 4D technology, Sphere shows promise to deliver a totally unique experience each and every night.”

The group summed up: “We are beyond excited to share this with the world in six months’ time and way f—-n’ psyched to go next level, it’s completely uncharted territory! This residency gives us another chance to reinvent how we interact with you guys in a live setting, and we can’t wait to see you there!”

The Sphere show schedule is Oct. 1 and 3, 15 and 17, 22 and 24, and 29 and 31.

Previous acts who have played the Sphere include U2 , who opened the venue in 2023, The Eagles , Dead and Company and Backstreet Boys.
