Just one regular season game to go before everything resets. One more time in Mackey Arena for Braden Smith. One more time in Mackey Arena for Fletcher Loyer. One more time in Mackey Arena for Trey Kaufman-Renn. One more time in Mackey Arena for Oscar Cluff. Senior night. I’m expecting a packed house from tipoff until after the senior night festivities have concluded. For those that are wondering, Purdue will again complete the senior day activities after the game. In recent years they have livestreamed those via both Facebook and Twitter and possibly their YouTube and I would expect this season to be no different.

These two teams met earlier in the year in Madison where the Boilermakers easily handled the Badger 89-73. But, that was so long ago that these might as well be completely different teams. They sit tied in the Big Ten standings and this game will help determine Purdue’s seeding in the Big Ten Tournament and therefore, when and who they will play. Purdue also wants to win this one to maintain their position on the three line for March Madness.
