The NFC East may be the new home for Kenneth Walker.

The only question is which of the division rivals could end up with the Seattle Seahawks' free agent RB coming off his Super Bowl MVP honors.

The New York Giants and Washington Commanders are both in play, writes ESPN's Jeremy Fowler in a new article on Sunday.

Fowler adds that the Tennessee Titans could get involved, too.

It'd be most intriguing if this came down to a battle between the NFC East rivals.

The Giants have a young offense and could be looking for an established star to help elevate what they can do.

New York has Cam Skattebo coming back from injury, but Walker would allow the Giants to play it safe with Skattebo, even potentially during the season if the physical running back finds himself getting injured again.

The Commanders unearthed a seventh-round gem with Jacory Croskey-Merritt. While "Bill" was positive as a rookie, he's likely not a workhorse RB in the NFL. Walker could get the bulk of the work while JCM mixes in.

Walker's price could rise as high as $12 million per year, Fowler writes, with the insider warning it could go even higher if the bidding war gets intense enough.

That's a lot for a running back in the modern NFL, but a guy like Walker is probably worth it.

It'll be interesting to see if his free agency moves quickly or not. A fast signing likely suggests he never really had any doubt about where he wanted to go. If Walker takes his time, it could signify that a number of teams really are in play.
