Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Andriamirado ‘Dax’ Andrianarimanana signed for Malagasy Pro League outfit CFFA on a free transfer.
The 34-year-old has put pen to paper on a one-year deal after parting ways with fellow Madagascan side Fosa Juniors.
During his stint with Chiefs, Dax made 16 appearances across all competitions, chipping in with two goals in the process.
The Madagascar international was lured to Naturena in July 2018 after catching the eye in the COSAFA Cup in May 2018 in Polokwane, where he was named Player of the Tournament.
However, the moved turned ugly for both parties as Chiefs were handed a FIFA transfer ban for failing to compensate Fosa Juniors for the player's services.
The Soweto giants cited the Malagasy topflight was not fully a professional league, with Dax also denying having a professional contract with the club.
Fosa reportedly demanded a fee worth in the region of $3 million (R48 million), as they claimed the player was still contracted until 2020.
Dax was eventually shipped out on loan to Black Leopards in August 2019, with Chiefs keen to register Daniel Akpeyi, James Kotei, Samir Nurkovic, Leonardo Castro, and Lazarous Kambole in their foreign quota at the time.
