Priest in Oakville charged with sex assault; Orangeville man accused in separate probe

A Catholic priest in Oakville has been charged with sexual assault following an investigation by Halton Regional Police in Oakville.

In early February 2026, Halton cops began investigating an allegation of sexual assault committed against an adult female volunteer at an Oakville church.

The Rev. Ranjan D’Sa, 53, of Oakville, has been charged with one count of sexual assault.

Police said that D’Sa has been a member of the clergy since 2010 and has been employed with St. Dominic’s Roman Catholic Church in Oakville since 2016.

Orangeville man facing sex assault charges

Toronto Police have charged a 34-year-old Orangeville man with three counts of a sexual assault.

On Friday, cops responded to a call for a sexual assault in the University Ave. and Queen St. W. area where it was alleged that between Dec. 10, 2025, and March 15, 2026, the accused sexually assaulted the victim on several occasions.

On Monday, Antonio Neves was arrested and charged. His photo has been released.
