Mumbai Indians will begin their IPL 2026 campaign against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday. Hardik Pandya won the toss and opted to field first. Mumbai have two debutants with Sherfane Rutherford and AM Ghazanfar making their debut.
Shardul Thakur was also given his cap in the team huddle. For KKR, Blessing Muzarabani, Finn Allen and Cameron Green are playing their first games for the franchise.
