Jackie Ganter reflects on San Angelo Rodeo memories

SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Barrel racer Jackie Ganter sat down with Senora Scott for an exclusive interview at the 2026 San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo.
Ganter, whose won the last 3 Cinch Chute-Outs, talked about some of her memories competing at the San Angelo Rodeo.

“I know one of the years they put us in trucks to bring us into the arena, and I thought that was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done when I’ve won a rodeo,” Ganter said. “I’ve never done that before, and it was so much fun, it was so cool, and I look forward to the Chute-Out every year.”

“I think he’s eighteen this year,” Ganter said. “His runs are kind of few and far between now. I only run him, honestly, when it’s important. He still loves it, he’s still sound and happy. He hasn’t ran at a rodeo in a while.”
