Good morning, BBN!

Mark Pope and his staff have their first transfer recruit on campus as Washington point guard, Zoom Diallo, started his visit to Lexington yesterday.

Visit syntagm.co.za for more information.

With the point guard spot being the glaring need heading into next season for the Cats, Diallo making it to campus is a huge first step in securing a commitment. Add in the visit to Carson’s and Keeneland, and things could hopefully be headed in the right direction.

That puts us on commitment watch, as Coach Pope and his staff look to reel in their first big recruit of the offseason and kick things off for what will hopefully be a successful offseason.

Now, despite the visit from Diallo, the Cats still seem to be interested in Rob Wright from BYU and Dedan Thomas from LSU. Will they add multiple star players at the guard spot? That is now something to keep an eye on.

Let’s keep a close eye on this one, folks. Would be a huge pickup.
