The 2025 third-round draft pick had a promising debut season for the Patriots. He had 10 receptions for 209 yards and three touchdowns last year. He averaged 20.9 yards per catch and recorded three touchdowns of 30-plus yards. The Washington State product teased his emergence as a big-play threat, and there is hope that he can take things to another level in 2026.
He clearly isn't taking the flashes of success that he had in 2025 lightly, as he was seen going through an intense workout in a video circulating on social media. The game-breaking wide receiver the Patriots could be searching for could be right under their nose if Williams has a massive Year 2 leap.

A solid season from Williams would ultimately elevate the Patriots' offense as a whole.
His speed is a major weapon on the field, and the team would do well to find more ways to get the ball in his hands. He can also take the top off opposing defenses and serve as a legitimate deep ball threat.
The Patriots haven't had a great track record of developing wide receivers, but there's real hope that Williams can finally be the one to change that narrative.
