NFL Draft Results: Dallas Cowboys select Penn State OT Drew Shelton with No. 112 pick

· Yahoo Sports

The Dallas Cowboys were back on the clock early on Saturday, sitting with the No. 112 pick in the fourth round. This is actually the Cowboys' own selection based on where they finished the 2025 season, and the first to take place where they were planned to pick.

After going defense with each of their first three picks, the attention was turned to the offense, specifically the offensive line. Dallas selected Penn State offensive tackle Drew Shelton.

Shelton joins an interesting situation at offensive tackle for the Cowboys. They don't feel especially secure with either starter. Tyler Guyton is entering Year 3, but he has yet to play at the level he was drafted at as the 2024 first-round pick. Right tackle Terence Steele had his contract reduced this past offseason. Shelton will become a primary backup along with last year's seventh-round pick, Nate Thomas.

Shelton is a strong athlete who started the final 29 games of his collegiate career.
