Seattle Reign Head Coach Laura Harvey provides update on Jess Fishlock injury

Jessica Fishlock suffered a left leg injury in the 68th minute during the last game Seattle Reign played on April 26 against the Utah Royals and had to be stretchered off the field.

The Welsh captain was struck in the leg by a shot taken by one of her teammates and immediately went down in pain, grabbing her left leg.

However, the club coach, Laura Harvey, provided an update on Fishlock’s injury to the fans and the league’s relief.

In the video, she mentions that although the injury looked very serious at the time, the initial scans and medical evaluations have provided some positive news.

Apparently, she won’t miss the remainder of the season but her comeback is expected later in the year, and Harvey indicated that that will most likely be after the summer break.
