The Philadelphia 76ers are on the road on Wednesday night as they travel to take on the New York Knicks in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
For the 76ers, they enter Wednesday’s game trailing 0-1 in the series after losing on the road to the Knicks in Game 1 on Monday night in blowout fashion.
Now Philadelphia will try to bounce back on Wednesday as they try to grab a victory over New York and even the series at 1-1 before heading home for Game 3.
While the 76ers are looking to pick up a victory on the road in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Wednesday night, they may be without one of their star players due to injury.
76ers list Joel Embiid as probable for Game 2
For the 76ers, they have only one player listed on their injury report for Wednesday’s game as they have listed star big man Joel Embiid as probable.
Philadelphia has listed Embiid as probable and he is expected to play despite dealing with a right ankle sprain.
Of course, Embiid has been battling multiple injuries over the past few games since returning from an appendectomy in the first round but he has been able to play through them and that is expected to be the case once again on Wednesday night.
This is great news for the 76ers as they will need Embiid and the rest of their core to step up in Game 2 as they try to tie the series before heading to Philadelphia for Game 3.
Fans can catch Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals between the 76ers and Knicks from Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
