New Browns' WR models game off one Hall-of-Famer and two other stars
· Yahoo Sports
Cleveland got two wide receivers in this year's NFL Draft that might be the two hardest-nosed guys they could have selected. Both KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston have the personality that they want to compete and prove that day in and day out, they are the best players on the field.

That's the right mentality to have and one that will take both of them a long way in this league, and hopefully, a long way with the Cleveland Browns.
We are going all the way back to the second night of the NFL draft for a sound bite that stuck out. Moments after being selected, Boston met with the Cleveland media and was asked by Nathan Zegura of Cleveland Browns Daily who he tries to play like. His answer should have Browns excited to see him on the field.
He said, "I've got three. Mine is Mike Evans, Tee Higgins, and Nico Collins... those are the three I watch and emulate in my game."

That's a pretty good trio to study. The truth is that if he puts together even half of the careers that all three of those guys have had, then Cleveland got themselves a winner.
Evans will be a first ballot Hall-of-Fame wide receiver in about a decade, and that isn't debatable. His career is off to San Francisco to sunset before he hangs them up for good, hopefully in several more seasons. Browns fans know all too well what both Higgins and Collins are capable of doing and how dominant those two receivers are.
Tee Higgins "worst" year in the league was in 2023, when he finished the year with 42 catches for 656 yards and five touchdowns while playing in just 12 games. Collins, on the other hand, started his career with back-to-back 400-yard seasons before ripping off three straight 1,000-plus yard years.
The common denominator with each of these players is their sheer physicality. These guys are all huge players and big-bodied wide receivers. They catch everything and are strong enough to make big plays after the catch. They are an intimidating presence, and Cleveland now has one of their own.
It is very easy to daydream about the reality of what Concepcion and Boston can be together. Insert whatever duo you can think of. Batman and Robin, Mario and Luigi, Ricky Bobby and Cal Naughton Jr, whoever you want. These two have the opportunity to be two of the best together for the Cleveland Browns.
What if Boston turns into Mike Evans for the Cleveland Browns? If he does, he'll be catching touchdowns in Cleveland for a very, very long time.
