Carter Bear scored a pair of goals and was named the No. 1 star as the Everett Silvertips downed the Prince Albert Raiders to tie their best-of-seven Western Hockey League playoff final 1-1.

After losing the first game, the Silvertips needed an early spark and Bear (drafted at No. 15, 2025) supplied it by scoring at 3:20 of the first period. Bear also brough a physical presence, ending up with two roughing penalties in the game.
Bear’s playing style should fit into the Red Wings’ mandate of wanting to be harder to play against moving forward.

Bear now has three goals in the first two games of the series against Prince Albert. He was plus-3 in the game, moving him to plus-19 in the postseason. He has six goals and 19 points in the WHL playoffs in 16 games.
