In fact, according to reports in The Athletic, members of the Real Madrid coaching staff were annoyed by the French superstar’s public remarks regarding Alvaro Arbeloa and his role in the squad.

According to sources close to the situation, Arbeloa and Mbappe held a direct conversation before the Oviedo match.
During that discussion, Mbappe expressed frustration about being left on the bench, while the manager himself raised concerns regarding the player’s recent behaviour.
