On social media, the three-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year reacted with exclamation marks on a post where his son talks about the offer from Kentucky. Crawford was also offered a post on Mark Pope’s coaching staff. Thus, his reaction hints at the possibility of his reconsidering that offer.

During an interview with On3, JJ Crawford named the Kentucky Wildcats as an early favorite in his collegiate recruitment process.

“Obviously Kentucky,” Crawford said. “I think Arkansas- I don’t really know. I got to ask my dad and the head of my program who talks to the schools. But, obviously, it’s real with Kentucky.”

Jamal Crawford also said that he is still considering joining Mark Pope’s coaching staff despite rejecting it the first time. He also highlights taking his son’s offer into consideration.

“I mean, it was kind of crazy when we heard that he got offered there,” Jamal Crawford told KSR. At first, I was like, ‘Well, I might be moving to Lexington!. But yeah, it was just kind of crazy hearing it and people making rumors that I was going to a school out there. I didn’t even know about it, so it was kind of crazy.”

Apart from Kentucky, JJ Crawford also has offers from programs like Michigan, USC and Kansas, to name a few.

Jamal Crawford’s son reveals how his dad makes him watch his old NBA highlights

Jamal Crawford is considered to be one of the best sixth man on the court to ever play in the NBA. In an interview published by KSR on Monday, JJ Crawford revealed how his dad makes him watch his old tape

“I mean, to be honest- any NBA kid can relate to this,” Crawford said. “Your dad will force you to watch his highlights. So, just growing up, of course. He actually forced me to watch his highlights like two weeks ago.

“I don’t want to give him that, I don’t want to give him the credit, you feel me? Like, I just- it’s my dad. So I don’t want to give him the credit, so I don’t like watching his highlights. I like watching SGA, Cade Cunningham, Kevin Durant.”

JJ Crawford still has a few years left to develop his talent for the next stage.
