Young. 23, began his career with Aston Villa and made one senior appearance in the FA Cup in 2021.

He joined The New Saints in July 2023 and scored 32 goals in 43 appearances to win the domestic treble and the Golden Boot before a move to Al-Orabah in Saudi Arabia.

Young also had a spell with Baniyas in the United Arab Emirates before joining Caernarfon in January, where he was part of the squad that won the JD Welsh Cup in April.

"I never stopped following The New Saints after I left, and if I'm being honest, a part of me always hoped I'd get the chance to come back," Young told the New Saints website.

"This club gave me some of the best moments of my career and I'm hungry to create more. The fans have always been incredible with me and I can't wait to get back out there and repay that support.

"It's a fresh start for me and I'm even more hungry than I've been to succeed."

Saints chairman Mike Harris said Young's signing was a "statement of intent" while head coach Craig Harrison said: "We know exactly what Brad brings.

"His ability, his character, and the contribution he made in the season we reached the Conference League isn't something you forget."

Saints have been seeded for the Champions League first qualifying round and will discover their opponents next month.
