Due to his precarious health this season, Jalen Williams played just three games for the OKC Thunder in the Western Conference Finals. In the eyes of the All-Star forward, the Thunder would be making a return trip to the championship series if his situation had been different.

Speaking to reporters in the aftermath of the Spurs’ Game 7 victory, Williams made a resounding statement about the series that transpired.
“I think we could we’ve won if I played.”
This statement from Williams did not sit well with some fans, who gave him a reality check of sorts.
“Yeah and yall woulda lost if hali didn’t get hurt last year.”
“He’s sat two years in his mid 20s for what? Hamstring pull?”
“So would the second round match up if Luka was healthy”
“Spurs beat them 4-1 during the season.”

Due to a lingering hamstring injury, Williams could only suit up for Games 1, 2, and 6 in the series against the Spurs. Despite Williams’ presence in Games 1 and 6, the Thunder came up on the losing end in those outings.
J-Dub, who was limited to just 33 games in the regular season, will have the rest of the summer to get back to 100% before the Thunder begin their revenge tour after getting dethroned as champions.
Jalen Williams Gives Props to Thunder Teammates for Withstanding Injuries All Season Long
In the same media availability, Jalen Williams praised his teammates for withstanding the impact of the injury bug this season.
“I don’t know if many teams can be as injured as we were and do what we just did…be no. 1 in the West for the year, get to the Western Conference Finals, go to [Game] 7 with the Spurs.”
