The Kansas City Chiefs could certainly use some help at the wide receiver position.

Between offseason departures and a lack of reliability, Kansas City will want to make sure Patrick Mahomes has enough reliable guys to throw to.
Maybe a player like Stefon Diggs, coming off a Super Bowl appearance with the New England Patriots but since released into free agency, would do the trick.
The problem here is that the Chiefs might not be alone if they go after Diggs.
Sports Illustrated national NFL writer Conor Orr predicts that the Los Angeles Rams would do battle with the Chiefs to see who ends up with Diggs.
"The 32-year-old veteran, who played 17 games last season, caught more than 85 balls and scored four touchdowns for the Patriots, will be a valuable WR3 option for Sean McVay’s offense or a trusted fill-in for the Chiefs as the team navigates the increasing unreliability of Rashee Rice," Orr writes.

Diggs may not have been worth the two years remaining on his contract that the Pats decided to move on from, but there's a price point at which Diggs becomes a very compelling addition to any team.
The Rams probably don't need Diggs as much. They've got Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. But if you threw a guy like Diggs into the mix, that'd all of a sudden be an even tougher group to cover as Matthew Stafford flings the football around the yard.
Mahomes could use the help more, if you compare depth charts, but Diggs' destination will likely have a lot do with what he actually wants to do.
At this stage of free agency for a veteran like Diggs, there's no rush. He'll wait it out and decide on what his best landing spot might be.
