Racing at the Isle of Man TT has been delayed for even longer with road closures pushed back by four hours due to poor weather.

Showers across the island and low cloud on the higher sections of the 37.7-mile (60km) Mountain Course meant roads would not now begin to close before 13:00 BST.

Under the latest revised schedule, lower roads on the course were expected to be closed from 14:00, with only one race planned - the Supersport race 1, over three laps, from 15:00.

Organisers said no racing would now take place in the evening due to forecast incoming showers, and with further unsettle conditions due for the rest of the week, Sunday's contingency road closures were now "likely" to be used.

The day's earlier schedule had featured a three-race programme, which included the rescheduled Superstock race that had been postponed from Saturday.
