Will Stein lands a third Kentucky commitment on Sunday, this time a WR

This weekend was set to be a big one for the Kentucky Wildcats football team, and has proven to be a lucrative one for coach Will Stein. After landing to big additions to the defense with Malachi Brown and Drew Williams, the Cats have gotten their third commitment of the day, adding wide receiver Austin Coles to their 2027 class.

Coles is a 6'4" 195 lb receiver out of Florida. He is currently rated three stars by 247Sports and ranks as their No. 709 overall player in the 2027 class. His height is an obvious advantage, but his play-making ability after the catch is notable as well.

Kentucky beat out schools like Virginia Tech, Kansas State, Arkansas, and Michigan State to for Coles. He was one of a big group of visitors this weekend, and adds his name to a talented group of recruits in the 2027 group.

Coles joins Iveon Lewis as receivers in Kentucky's 2027 class. Overall, he's the 21st commitment of Stein's first class. He has plenty of potential to be a difference maker for the Wildcats down the line. It's another nice win for Stein and the Cats.
