RECPDCL Hands Over Jalna Power Transmission Ltd to Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co Limited

REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSU under the Ministry of Power, handed over Jalna Power Transmission Limited, the project-specific Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), to the successful bidder, M/s Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited, on 12 June 2026. M/s Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited emerged as the successful bidder through the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process conducted by RECPDCL, the Bid Process Coordinator, for development of Maharashtra’s intra-state transmission project on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis. The SPV was handed over by Shri Ratnesh Kumar, General Manager (Engg.), RECPDCL, to Ms. Vineeta Shriwani, Company Secretary, and Shri Amit Naik, Chief Engineer (TBCB), Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited, in the presence of senior officials from Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited, Maharashtra STU, and RECPDCL.
