The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) successfully organised a PoSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Awareness Workshop for its employees, reaffirming the organisation's commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
The workshop was conducted by renowned PoSH trainer and speaker Vishal Kedia, who provided valuable insights into the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, employee rights and responsibilities, and the importance of creating a workplace culture founded on dignity, equality, and mutual respect.

The session was graced by Gautam Birhade, Director (Projects), and Yogendra Saxena, Director (Finance), along with senior officials and employees of MMRC. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from employees across departments, reflecting the organisation's collective commitment to promoting awareness and ensuring a secure and inclusive workplace for all.
Addressing the participants, the dignitaries emphasised the importance of sensitisation and continuous awareness initiatives in building a work environment where every employee feels respected, valued, and empowered.
The programme commenced with introductory remarks by Vaidehi Khadse, DGM (PR) and Chairperson of the ICC. Ahmed Belal, AGM (Track) and ICC Member, introduced the guest speaker, while the event was compered by Rutesh Jadhav, AGM (S&T) and ICC Member. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Niti Tamse, AM (PR).
