Cena, of course, stepped away from WWE rings this year as he looks to carry on with his Hollywood career.
Still, he has an eye on WWE and with the ‘John Cena Classic’ still to come, he’ll keep playing some sort of role within the company when required.
As for whether his comedic partner Andre could make it in WWE, Cena has admitted it’s not outside the realms of possibility.

If there’s one thing John Cena knows about, it’s what makes a good WWE superstar.
Cena reinvented his character a few times over the course of his brilliant career and managed to keep momentum and popularity for around 20 years.
Indeed, he believes Andre has the character to take to the sports entertainment industry.
“The advice would be follow your dream,” Cena said on the Pete Davidson show.
“He’s a gifted physical comedian and a storyteller. He would be a WWE Superstar as soon as he switches, as soon as he changes his mind.”
With Cena discussing Andre’s chances in the ring, he harked back to his passion for wrestling and admitted it was something he simply enjoyed doing.
“Being a wrestler is something I enjoy. It is not who I am. I am more than that. And everyone during the farewell tour was like, ‘What are you doing next?’ I don’t know,” he continued.
“Just to hear people’s answer, like, ‘Well, what do you mean you don’t know?’ I’m going to figure out what life deals. Yeah, there might be some opportunities, but I don’t control when the phone rings. I do control how I spend my days if I’m sitting at home. Let’s go out and do something with a day. Let’s have a good one.”
With Andre obviously involved in the world of Netflix and Cena bound to make some sort of return as a host at some point, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Andre involved in some way.
Whether or not that transcends into being a fully fledged superstar, only time will tell.
