Toronto Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in a break and enter investigation.
On Sunday at about 3 a.m., a person broke into a home in the Cosburn-Coxwell Aves. area and was confronted by the homeowner. Cops said the suspect ran out of the home.
He is in his 20s and about 6-foot-2 with a medium build and short brown hair. He was wearing a red long-sleeve shirt and grey Puma sweatpants.

Stabbing leads to attempted murder charge
A 65-year-old Clarington man is facing attempted murder and other charges after another male was stabbed in Bowmanville.
On Monday around 5:30 a.m., Durham Regional Police responded to an unknown trouble call in the Queen-Temperance Sts. area. Police were contacted after the victim flagged down a passing motorist and said he was stabbed multiple times near Rotary Park.
Officers and emergency medical personnel provided life-saving care before the victim was taken to a trauma centre in serious condition. The victim’s condition has since been upgraded to stable.
Officers then located a suspect in the Liberty St. S.-Prince St. area and they were taken into custody without incident.
Theadore Joseph Hall is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, possession of a dangerous weapon, assault with a weapon, theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Youth charged after crash injures 6
A 17-year-old male is facing three charges of impaired operation of a conveyance causing bodily harm following a collision in Clarington that injured five young people.
Durham Regional Police said that on April 15 at about 11:05 a.m., they responded to a collision on Longworth Ave. near Jackman Rd., where a Volkswagen hatchback was travelling westbound when it collided with a Ford SUV travelling eastbound.
Six youth suffered injuries and four were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The other two were taken to a trauma centre with serious injuries.
The driver of the Volkswagen was charged.

Toronto teen accused of assault
Toronto Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man wanted for assault.
On Monday around 1 a.m., police responded to a call for assault in the O’Connor Dr.-Sunrise Ave. area. The victim and suspect, who are known to each other, got into a verbal fight and the suspect then allegedly assaulted the victim, who sustained minor injuries.
James Tryce, 18, of Toronto, is wanted for assault/choking, breach of probation, failure to comply with a release order and three counts of assault.
He is Black and 5-foot-9 with a medium build, black braided hair and a clean-shaven face.

Cops seeking footage of Port Lands crash
Toronto Police are asking residents, business owners and drivers in the Port Lands area to check their video cameras after a crash there on Monday.
Cops said they responded to the Carlaw Ave.-Commissioners St. area, where a 59-year-old man was operating a black Jeep SUV going eastbound on Commissioners before crossing Carlaw.
At the same time, an unidentified female was walking northbound on Carlaw and crossing the street at Commissioners when a vehicle struck her. She was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Vulnerable senior allegedly defrauded
Hamilton Police have charged two people in their 50s following an investigation into the alleged financial exploitation of a vulnerable senior.
On Wednesday, investigators arrested a 56-year-old male and a 54-year-old female after a vulnerable family member was allegedly defrauded of a substantial amount of money.
Both have been charged with fraud over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and identity fraud
To protect the identity of the victim, Hamilton Police said they will not be releasing the names of the accused.
