Cam Boozer didn't take long to show why Memphis Grizzlies fans should be excited about his future.

The No. 3 overall pick was impressive in his first summer league action with the Grizzlies on July 4 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Boozer was one of many big-time contributors that helped Memphis get a 111-74 win at Jon M. Huntsman Center.
Boozer showcased a well-rounded skillset in his action. He had positive flashes of scoring, rebounding, shooting and running the floor. He played all of his minutes at power forward, but that didn't stop him from creating playmaking opportunities for teammates and leading the break.
If Boozer continues to play like he did against the Thunder, his summer league appearances may be short. He's making an early case for the kind of player who could be too good for summer league action.
