The Cincinnati Bengals have a number of stars on their roster. Two of their best players happen to play quarterback and wide receiver. Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase are among the best players at their positions, but are they the best QB-WR duo in the NFL?

A number of other QB/WR duos have arguments. The Los Angeles Rams' Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua and the New England Patriots' Drake Maye and AJ Brown have arguments as well. However, Burrow and Chase are still arguably the best duo in the NFL.

Why Burrow-Chase are Best NFL QB-WR Duo

Of course, Burrow and Chase may have more chemistry than any other receiver and QB in the NFL since they have played together since their college days at LSU.

Burrow's injury concerns over the years have limited their ceiling as a duo. While they have been on the field together, though, Burrow and Chase have been unstoppable at times.

Burrow, 29, has appeared in 16 or more games in a season in three of his six years in the NFL so far. He has been a superstar when he's been able to avoid injuries. In 2024, Burrow led the league in completions, touchdowns and passing yards. Meanwhile, Chase, 26, led the league in receiving yards, receptions, touchdowns and pass targets this season.

Burrow was clearly looking for Chase throughout the campaign. Both players ended up having elite seasons. 

Chase still had a tremendous season in 2025 despite the fact that Burrow only played in eight games. Still, Chase would surely prefer to have Burrow on the field for a full season.

Some may begin to question if Burrow and Chase are still the best QB-WR duo in the NFL since Burrow has been limited at times. There's no denying his talent, but injuries have been a concern for the quarterback.

The Bengals stars will remind the NFL of how good they can be together if they are both able to stay on the field for most of the upcoming campaign. And if they are able to accomplish the feat, the Bengals will certainly benefit overall. Cincinnati is hoping to compete at a high level, and the team certainly needs Burrow and Chase to lead the way.

Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase are still the best QB-WR duo in the NFL, and they will be looking to play at a high level once again this season.
