The Thomas controversy has been one of the biggest stories of the WNBA season, one that led her to be suspended for a game after her closed fist made contact with Clark's neck during a game.

Thomas also was vocal about receiving death threats and racist harassment after the incident went viral, which the league later condemned. Phoenix stood by Thomas and felt the suspension wasn't handled correctly.

On Boston's podcast Post Moves with WNBA legend Candace Parker, the duo discussed the foul and subsequent harassment.

"It was a Flagrant 2," Boston said about the foul. "That should have never been done; you don't put your hand in someone's throat and damn near kick them on the floor. It's a basketball game; what are we doing? Obviously, that was the right call."

She also said it's "too much" when online pushback reaches levels like it did for Thomas after the foul.

So much has been said about the Thomas foul, but the discourse should probably dissipate from here on out. It's good to hear from Boston on the matter since she's a franchise Fever player, though.
