NFL Top 100: Broncos DT Zach Allen is No. 73

This has been the third week of the NFL revealing players in the "NFL Top 100 players of 2026." This week, players No. 80-71 have been revealed. Two have been Arizona Cardinals players, as outside linebacker Josh Sweat came in at No. 78 and safety Budda Baker was No. 75.

On Thursday, player No. 73 was revealed. He wasn't on the Cardinals, but he used to be and he is one of the Cardinals' 2026 opponents.

Player No. 73 is Denver Broncos defensive lineman Zach Allen.

Broncos DL Zach Allen, player No. 73 in 'NFL Top 100'

Allen played all 17 games last season. He was a Pro Bowler for the first time and a first-team All-Pro after making the second team in 2024. He had 38 total tackles, seven sacks, four tackles for loss, a whopping 47 quarterback hits and six tipped passes.

He was No. 90 last year.

Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain said that watching Allen rush the passer is "like watching ballet on grass — the moves he does, the counters, the swim moves."

Broncos tackle Garett Bolles said, "he does it all — chasing guys down, getting in their face, batting balls down, making sure running backs can't get through their lanes."

Kansas City Chiefs guard Trey Smith said that Allen "has become one of the best defensive tackles in the NFL."

Allen was drafted in the third round in 2019 and spent four seasons with the Cardinals before signing with the Broncos, with whom he has played for the last three years.

The Cardinals will face the Broncos at home in Week 7.
