The Phillies will conclude the first half of the season in Detroit in what should be an excellent pitching matchup. Zack Wheeler, despite being one of the best pitchers in the league for the past six years and having an excellent first half was only given a token invitation, which he declined. Last time out, he took out his frustration on the Reds, and he’ll look to continue his revenge tour today.

He’ll be opposed by Tarik Skubal, who although isn’t an All-Star either this season, has two Cy Young awards to his credit.

Game time is 1:40 Eastern and will be televised locally on NBCSP.
