The WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup Group Stage 2026 will be held July 22-26 at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park. Teams from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Korea and Hong Kong, China will compete in the group stage.
A special meal promotion in Rockford
The Bucciferro Family McDonald's will offer a limited-time Maybelle Blair Meal at participating Rockford-area restaurants July 21-26. The meal, named after International Women's Baseball Center (IWBC) co-founder and baseball pioneer Maybelle Blair, includes two cheeseburgers, fries and a fountain drink.
Customers who purchase the meal can also redeem a pair of Maybelle-inspired red sunglasses during the 7 p.m. game July 25 at Rivets Stadium, while supplies last. A portion of the proceeds from each meal sold will benefit the IWBC.
Charitable giving initiatives planned
The IWBC and Bucciferro Family McDonald's will host a weeklong donation drive benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison. Fans attending games at Rivets Stadium are encouraged to donate household essentials such as paper towels, disinfectant wipes, unscented laundry detergent pods, dryer sheets, dishwasher detergent pods, 13-gallon trash bags and toilet paper.
Ronald McDonald will make his first public appearance in Rockford in nearly a decade during the 7 p.m. game July 25 as part of Mascot & Superhero Night at Rivets Stadium. Ronald McDonald will throw the ceremonial first pitch, participate in fan-friendly photo opportunities and be joined by fellow mascots Grimace, Hamburglar, Birdie, Hammy the IceHog, Rally the Rivetsaurus and more. Children are encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero.
