How to play the Daily Lotto

The Daily Lotto costs R3 per board, with players needing to match five numbers from a pool of 36, either self-selected or via a Quick Pick.

In-store, players complete a betslip, choose a single draw or up to 10 consecutive draws, then sign the ticket and add contact details for protection.

Online, players register a National Lottery account, select numbers or Quick Pick, choose their draws, then confirm and pay.

When are the Daily Lotto results announced

The Daily Lotto draws take place every day of the week with ticket sales closing at 20:40, as per Sizekhaya, the National Lottery’s operator since 1 June 2026.

Where to buy Daily Lotto tickets

Tickets are available at authorised National Lottery retailers, on the National Lottery website and app, through participating banks including FNB, ABSA, Nedbank, Standard Bank, Capitec, TymeBank and African Bank, or via USSD on 1207529#.

Winners of R50 000 or more receive free trauma counselling and financial advice, and all National Lottery winnings are paid tax-free directly into the winner’s account.
