No one is safe from getting benched in fantasy football, not even if you're family.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco learned that the hard way.

In the first episode of Neftlix's series "Quarterback," Flacco's family − er, son, rather − made a business decision instead of an emotional one during their return to Baltimore before the quarterback's then-Cleveland Browns battled the Ravens in Week 2.

"If dad goes off, I'm gonna crash out," Frank Flacco said, prompting Flacco's wife, Dana, to ask what he meant by that. "'Cause I benched him."

She replied, "I hope he goes off."

However, Dana wasn't in the clear either, as she revealed a secret of her own to Netflix.

"I play fantasy as well, and I had Joe on my bench," Dana said, laughing.

As it turns out, the Flacco family might've made the right call.

Flacco's Browns were demolished by the Ravens, 41-17, and it wasn't a particularly effective day at the office for the veteran. He finished by completing 25-of-45 passes for 199 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He also lost one fumble.

The 41-year-old was traded to the Bengals a few weeks later on Oct. 7.
