The massive (6-foot-1, 340 pounds) Billings turned 31 on March 6 and entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2016. He played four seasons with the Bengals, one with the Cleveland Browns, one with the Las Vegas Raiders and three with the Chicago Bears before landing with the Cardinals as an unrestricted free agent this year.
With the Bears in 2025, he had 31 tackles (19 solo/six for loss) and five quarterback hits in 17 games, 14 starts and 511 defensive snaps (48 percent).
Andrew Billings contract details, cap hit
The one-year contract Billings signed is worth $2.4 million with $700,000 guaranteed ($350,000 signing bonus and $350,000 of a $1.55 million base salary). The deal included a $75,000 offseason workout bonus and $25,000 per-game roster bonuses for a max total of $425,000.
Questions he faces, roster outlook
Another addition to the defense that was rarely talked about in the last four months, Billings should combine with nose tackle Roy Lopez to provide strength and production on the inside of the line.
