Jürgen Klopp is the right choice as German national team coach but he faces huge challenges, former internationals Oliver Kahn and Bastian Schweinsteiger have warned.

Kahn told broadcasters BR24Sport that he believes "it won't be as easy as many believe it will be. I believe the problems certainly lie deeper."
The former goalkeeper and Bayern Munich CEO said that Klopp faces many key questions in his new role at the German Football Federation (DFB).
"What kind of players do you want to develop for the coming years? What kind of players do you want in the first place? How do do you want to play football?" Kahn said.
Kahn was speaking on the sidelines of the Bastian Schweinsteiger Cup charity golf event, and its initiator Schweinsteiger agreed that former Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool coach Klopp has a big task ahead to make Germany a major football power again.
“Expectations are, of course, very high. You have to start building everything from scratch," 2014 World Cup winner Schweinsteiger said.
"It’ll be quite a challenge for him, but he’s an excellent manager. I think Jürgen Klopp is the right manager for the current situation.”
Schweinsteiger expressed hope “that this sense of optimism will last a long time and that we will get closer to the world’s best again.”
Kahn agreed that Klopp is "a very experienced man who can certainly make a difference."
Klopp, 59, was confirmed as coach on Friday in succession of Julian Nagelsmann who resigned earlier in the month in the wake of a third straight German World Cup fiasco, a last 32 exit against Paraguay.
Klopp has signed a contract until 2030 and will start with four Nations League matches against the Netherlands, Serbia and Greece (twice) between September 24 and October 4.
