A 51-year-old Toronto man is accused of touching a young person sexually while working as a Chinese language tutor.

York Regional Police say the alleged victim, who is under the age of 16, came forward claiming their Chinese language tutor had “touched them for a sexual purpose” during lessons on “multiple occasions” between January and July 2026.

The suspect was arrested on July 22.

Yang Fu Luo, 51, of Toronto, is charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual interference.

Investigators are concerned about the possibility of other alleged victims, so they have now released a photo of the accused.
