Elopee wanted by cops after fleeing CAMH; tips sought on robbery suspect

Police are seeking tips on the whereabouts of a 28-year-old elopee who was found not criminally responsible for aggravated assault.
Toronto Police said Preston Petitti was last seen on Friday at about 7 p.m. in the Queen St. W.-Ossington Ave. area, where the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health is located.

They said Petitti was under the order of a Form 49 warrant of committal, which appoints a person to the custody of a provincial psychiatric hospital and subjects them to abide by certain conditions.
Petitti is 5-foot-8 with a medium build and has black shoulder-length hair. He was last seen wearing a black sleeveless shirt and brown pants.
“If located, do not approach and call 911 immediately,” police said in a news release.

Cops seeking ID of robbery suspect
Police are urging people to help them identify a man accused of assaulting and robbing an elderly woman last week in Flemingdon Park.
Toronto Police said the incident happened after an unknown male suspect approached the elderly victim on July 30 at about 2:15 p.m. in the Don Mills Rd.-Overlea Blvd. area while she was walking across a bridge.
Police said the suspect assaulted the victim, knocked her to the ground and stole her gold necklace before fleeing northbound.
The victim, who did not know her attacker, suffered minor injuries.
Police said the suspect is a Black male, about 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-6 with a thin build and has medium-length curly black hair. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, black jogging pants with a white stripe down the side and black socks.
