While many Pittsburgh Steelers fans remember Larry Fitzgerald as a foe during Super Bowl 43, the receiver was a star for the Pittsburgh Panthers prior to his NFL days.

On Saturday afternoon, the former Panther and Arizona Cardinals receiver was one of five past NFL greats to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Fitzgerald's speech featured a perfect mix of humility and humor, ranging from jabs at his old teammates to touching moments with his three sons.

Fitzgerald led off the list of NFL legends to be eternally remembered as a Hall of Fame Class of 2026 member. His son, Devin, led things off with a heartwarming segment about what his father's career meant to him. He also helped the former Cardinal decloak his Hall-of-Fame statue.

The former Pitt Panther discussed what the late Dennis Green, his Arizona coach from 2004 to 2006, meant to him both as a player and a man.

While Fitzgerald's speech discussed some touching subjects, the receiver didn't stray away from adding some quick humor into his speech. Cris Carter, who Fitzgerald frequently dubs "Uncle Cris," was briefly featured in a joke about the new Hall of Famer's receiving skills.

The former Cardinal also took the time to connect with Class of 2018 Hall of Famer Randy Moss, a receiver whose peak coincided with Fitzgerald's rise, and 2017 Hall-of-Famer Kurt Warner.

To close out his speech, Fitzgerald tugged the heartstrings of those in attendance by honoring his late father and three sons, with the trio in attendance in Canton.
