Banks leads Stallions into season with high expectations

Last year's season ended with a loss to Indian River in the region championship game, but expectations remain high heading into the new season.
After transferring from Phoebus earlier this offseason, quarterback Maurikus Banks will lead the offense as the Stallions pursue a deeper playoff run and a shot at a state championship. Banks brings championship experience to the position after leading the Phoebus Phantoms to back-to-back state titles.
The Stallions also return most of their defensive starters from last season, giving head coach Brandon Williams confidence in his team heading into his 10th season at the helm.
With Banks leading the offense and an experienced defense returning, Williams believes the pieces are in place for the Stallions to make a run at a state title this season.
