GAIL's Saikat Chakraborty bags PRSI's Best PR Manager award

Saikat Chakraborty, Chief Manager (Corporate Communications) at GAIL (India) Limited, has been conferred the Dr CVN-Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) 'Best PR Manager of the Year (2025-26)' award.

The award was presented by Telangana Minister for Labour, Employment, Training and Factories, and Mines and Geology G Vivek Venkataswamy at a ceremony in Hyderabad, the company said in a statement.
PRSI National President Ajit Pathak and senior representatives of PRSI and the Dr CVN Reddy PR Foundation attended the event.
Chakraborty was recognised for his contributions as Lead – Corporate Communications at GAIL Gas Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GAIL (India) Limited.
During his stint at GAIL Gas, Chakraborty undertook several public relations initiatives and leveraged digital communication platforms to strengthen the company's brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.
His initiatives also helped position the communications function as a strategic business enabler rather than merely a support service, the statement said.
