A main goal of the San Francisco 49ers in the preseason is to get through the games healthy. They weren't able to accomplish that mission in Thursday's loss to the Tennessee Titans.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan in a press conference after the game provided some updates on four players who were banged up during the game, including quarterback Kurtis Rourke who wound up going to the hospital after suffering a rib injury in the second quarter.
"He was struggling to breathe so they took him to the hospital just to check on everything and make sure it's alright," Shanahan said. "X-rays in here didn't show it was broken or anything, but we'll see what we find out tomorrow."
Shanahan said he hadn't heard an update on Rourke since he went to the hospital. He didn't sound overly worried about any long-term issues.
"They just wanted to get more imaging and find out," Shanahan said. "So we weren't too concerned. I don't want to downplay it too much, but also I'm not trying to overplay it either."
Rourke was very good in his NFL preseason debut after missing all of his rookie season recovering from offseason ACL surgery. He completed 12-of-14 throws for 101 yards and ran three times for 14 yards. Overall he looked to have good command of the offense in his first taste of NFL action.
Shanahan didn't have any additional information on cornerback Jack Jones who left the game with a hand injury after the first series. Linebacker Nick Martin briefly exited the game with a stinger and was able to return. Safety Marques Sigle who started the game left with an oblique issue and didn't return.
We'll find out more on these injuries when the 49ers are back in practice Saturday.
