Jordan Seaton opens up about picking LSU, body transformation

Jordan Seaton came to LSU football as the nation's top offensive lineman in the transfer portal. Over his first offseason in Baton Rouge, Seaton transformed his body to become faster and more physical. He commented on the changes to his makeup during fall camp.

"The body transformation is helping me a lot, but not only that, but just like the muscle to fat percentage, I think we did a good job and the training staff here did a good job with maintaining that," Seaton said.
Head coach Lane Kiffin and players offered praise for Seaton about his commitment to self-improvement and attitude thus far. He will start at left tackle after two seasons at the top of the depth chart at Colorado. For the Buffaloes, Seaton started as a true freshman and held the spot into last year as a sophomore.
Seaton let anticipation build as he decided where to transfer, but he says he made the right choice in selecting LSU.
"It's LSU," Seaton said. "I think if anybody chooses this program, they'll see what's best for them and see why this is a great program."
Given LSU's offensive line struggles in 2025, Seaton is the quality of player needed to fix it. The ceiling is high for the five-star -- Seaton will likely be a first-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft if he puts together a productive season in Baton Rouge.
