Former Rams WR Allen Robinson retires from NFL after 11 seasons

Former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver and 11-year veteran Allen Robinson II has called it a career, retiring from the NFL on Monday. Robinson played for six teams over that time after entering the league as a second-round pick from Penn State in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Saying goodbye to the game, Robinson took to social media and shared his journey through football and life as he makes the transition towards his next pursuit.

Robinson earned Pro Bowl honors in 2015, when he led the league with 15 touchdown receptions. After being drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars, Robinson would sign a $42 million contract with the Chicago Bears in 2018, helping the franchise win the division in his first season.

After finishing his time with Chicago, Robinson signed a three-year, $46.5 million deal with the Rams in 2022, playing 10 games for the team before he was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers the following offseason. He recorded 33 receptions for 339 yards and one touchdown during his tenure in Los Angeles.

Robinson did not play during the 2025 NFL season, appearing in his last game with the Lions in 2024.
