Mudryk a deadline day alternative to Ndiaye for Tottenham

Tottenham could be set for a busy end to the summer transfer window, with reports suggesting they have agreed deals with Chelsea for attacker Mykhailo Mudryk and defender Tosin Adarabioyo.

The Press Association understands Spurs made an enquiry to Chelsea over Mudryk, who has only recently returned to football after resolving his doping case with the Football Association but worked with manager Roberto De Zerbi at Shakhtar Donetsk.
According to reports, Spurs have also moved for Adarabioyo, who joined Chelsea from Fulham in 2024.
De Zerbi had originally set his sights on Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo before Manchester City stole a march, which forced Tottenham to target Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye.
However, City also turned their attention to Ndiaye after Liverpool refused to sanction the sale of Gakpo and the Senegal attacker appears set to move to the Etihad Stadium, with a fee worth up to £65million agreed with Everton.
And that development has turn prompted a switch of focus to Mudryk, who could now link up with old boss De Zerbi in a loan move before Tuesday's 11pm deadline.
The deals would continue Spurs remarkable summer window after young forward Mikey Moore finally joined Bundesliga side Cologne on loan for the remainder of the season on Monday.
That deal was agreed at the start of August but Spurs' difficulty in landing attacking targets meant Moore started the club's first two games and he scored against Charlton.
PA understands Moore's move is a straight loan with no option or obligation to make the move permanent.
Richarlison is free to leave Spurs after the north London club brought in Savio and Omar Marmoush from Manchester City last week, but has other options alongside an emotional transfer back to Everton.
Brazil forward Richarlison released a statement on Monday that warned "never again will anyone decide my future for me", but said: "If they reach an agreement between Spurs and Everton, I will return to my beloved club."
Midfielder Pape Sarr is expected to seal a loan to Juventus before the deadline after an agreement with the Serie A club was reached.
Sarr will join Juventus on an initial season-long loan and the move will become permanent for an overall package of €30 million ($34.8 million) if certain obligations are met during the 2026-27 campaign.
Kevin Danso was not included in Tottenham's matchday squad for Saturday's 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle after De Zerbi revealed he asked to leave.
Sunderland had a loan bid rejected for Danso on Friday night, but any departure of the Austria international would leave Spurs with only four senior centre-backs.
Young Brazil left-back Souza is set to depart on loan to Porto and Japanese defender Kota Takai is primed to join Belgium outfit Sint-Truidense for the rest of the campaign.
There is interest in Tottenham under-21 players Alfie Dorrington, James Rowswell, Tyrese Hall and Damola Ajayi, who are all expected to link up with EFL clubs.
Spurs academy graduate Callum Olusesi will stay and continue his rehabilitation after a spell on the sidelines and 17-year-old Luca Williams-Barnett will remain with De Zerbi's senior squad after an excellent pre-season.
