Peel cops hunting for suspect wanted in a double stabbing in Mississauga parking lot

Peel Police are on the lookout for a suspect allegedly involved in a double stabbing incident at a Mississauga parking lot on Saturday.

Investigators from the Peel’s 11 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau were called to the area of Dundas St. West and Parkerhill Rd. at about 5 p.m. for reports of a disturbance.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located two adult men, one in their 30s and the other in their 40s, suffering from stab wounds following a reported parking dispute. Police say the two victims are known to each other.
“Both victims were transported to hospital with serious injuries and are now in stable condition,” Peel Police said in a statement.
Officers searched the area and located one of the suspects and arrested him without incident.
Ali Halimi, 30, from Mississauga, was charged with assault.
One suspect remains at large
The second suspect, believed to have stabbed both the victims, remains outstanding and is wanted for attempted murder. The suspect may have the knife in his possession.
The suspect is described as Middle Eastern, approximately 25 to 35 years old, with a thin build, medium complexion, thinning brown hair, and an unshaven appearance. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black Nike sweatpants, a black cross‑body bag, and white and grey Air Jordan shoes with a black logo.
“The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous,” police said. “If seen, members of the public are advised not to approach him and to call 911 immediately.”
Police say they have additional photos of the suspect. They also say the alleged perpetrator should get a lawyer and turn himself in immediately.
“It’s a matter of time before we get this individual, so I really would suggest that he gets a lawyer, seeks counsel,” Peel Const. Tyler Bell-Morena told CP24. “We’re going to get him soon.”
