Rules for ETPL 2026 playoff qualification
The inaugural ETPL features six franchises playing each other twice in a double round-robin, producing 10 league matches per team and 30 in total. Points are awarded as follows:

Dublin Guardians would then need a superior net run rate to those teams, having started the Dublin leg at minus 1.645, the worst in the competition by a considerable margin.
