Kentucky Wildcats News: UK vs. Alabama may turn into a rain game
· Yahoo Sports
Kentucky Football will waste no time getting to the best part of this season’s schedule as they host No. 12 Alabama on Saturday afternoon at Kroger Field.
The Wildcats, with new head coach Will Stein leading the way, appear to have more promise than ever to at least be competitive with the Crimson Tide.

Kentucky beat Youngstown State last weekend, 45-13, displaying an efficient offense and flashy defense.
While Alabama is very much a different beast than Youngstown State, it’s clear that Kentucky has some elite players on their team.
The one catch is, however, what the weather could bring on for Saturday afternoon’s game.

There’s a strong chance that Kentucky and Alabama could play in a mud bowl and/or experience weather delays if lightning forms in the area.
The Weather Channel is currently calling for Scattered thunderstorms in the morning, then mainly cloudy during the afternoon with thunderstorms likely. Followed by scattered thunderstorms during the evening, then partly cloudy overnight.
If the weather becomes a major factor, which team do you think it will favor? And will it impact the home crowd at all? Let us know in the comments below!
