The NFL and Powerball have joined forces to offer a new lottery game for U.S. residents in 23 states and Washington, D.C.: Xs and Os.

Powerball Xs & Os is the latest lottery offering from Powerball and NFL. Players pick their favorite eight NFL team logos for a chance to win a rolling cash jackpot. Tickets are available now, as sales started on Sept. 8, 2026.

Lottery participation is subject to official game rules, all applicable laws and regulations and any participating lottery jurisdiction requirements.

"Powerball Xs & Os is more than a game launch – it's the debut of the first national promotional prize program in Powerball history," said Jay Finks, Powerball Xs & Os product group chair and Oklahoma Lottery executive director.

"This national program allows us to offer premier NFL prizes and experiences on a scale never before possible through a Powerball promotion. From exclusive merchandise to a trip to the Super Bowl, players can unlock more value and excitement from every ticket.”

Powerball Xs & Os is available in 24 lottery jurisdictions, including: Arizona, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont and West Virginia, according powerball.com.
