Matthew Stafford referred to the New York Giants as a “dangerous” football team, and he further explained that every team in the NFL has a chance to be dangerous. The logic that any team can be dangerous makes sense as every team is made up of the best talent in the world. So, by extension, the Los Angeles Rams can be dangerous too, right?
One would think, but it’s hard not to be a little concerned or maybe more than a little concerned given how disappointing they were in Week 1. Now, Myles Garrett is out too.

For the Giants, we just saw them be very dangerous over a touted Dallas Cowboys team on Sunday Night Football. The Giants showed they had the goods in Week 1. They’ll look to do it again in Week 2.
It’s not all doom and gloom, it’s one week. But the Rams haven’t shown, so far, that they have the goods to be a dangerous team for four quarters in 2026. Will they find that gear on Monday night?

“The Giants currently have a cornerback room consisting of Deonte Banks, Greg Newsome II, Paulson Adebo, and Dru Phillips as the main contributors. McDuffie is far and away the best player out of that group.
The 2023 All-Pro First-Team selection has allowed a career 89.1 passer rating against and a mere 6.0 yards per target in coverage. Though this scenario is hypothetical, it goes to show that the Giants are likely to address the cornerback position in a big way this offseason.
